Responsibilities

Drive profitable growth in General Aviation team by working on creative solutions for complex risks

Underwriting a range of new and renewal business

Work closely with brokers to communicate risk appetite and value proposition

Understand deal structures, terms and products that meet clients’ needs

Negotiate pricing, terms & conditions, and deal structure with brokers and clients

Generate new business by expanding broker network

Attend broker events and build new relationships across the market

Collaborate with AIG Distribution, territory managers, and underwriters in other business lines

Target desirable accounts and cross-selling opportunities

Set a high standard of customer service to brokers and clients

Provide guidance, mentoring and training to less-experienced underwriters

Support junior underwriters in building their broker network
