Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of quarterly state tax estimates
Review state apportionment reports and prepare US international tax provision templates and foreign fixed asset depreciation templates
Collaborate with transfer pricing teams on cash pooling TP documentation
Identify, research, and document the tax accounting consequences of changes in state tax law
Work with the tax compliance co-sourcing provider to review US tax forms 1120, 5471s, and 5472s
Support special projects related to business changes, tax incentives, finance initiatives, and other topics as needed
Qualification
Required
0-1 years of diversified finance/accounting or tax-related experience
Pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited university, preferably a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
Basic understanding of tax principles or accounting concepts
Strong analytical and research skills
Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must have strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred
Familiarity with tax preparation software or financial systems
Experience with tax research tools
Prior internship experience
