Audio Visual Systems Administrator

Responsibilities
Responsible for providing client and operational support for the College’s audio visual (AV) infrastructure
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to design and deploy AV technologies and systems
Performs system integration, tests, and pilots viable technologies for new construction and retrofits
Reviews requirements and designs for AV systems and troubleshoots existing systems to ensure system functionality
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree
Two years of related experience
Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
Networking concepts
Programming audio visual systems using C, Crestron, or similar software
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
Delivering a high level of customer service
Creative thinking and problem solving to explore new technology, processes, and approaches
Installation of audio visual and multimedia systems
Interpret signal flow diagrams, load program code, and troubleshoot system components
Troubleshoot complex audio, video, switching and control systems issues
Organize and prioritize multiple, competing priorities to maximize personal and team effectiveness
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service
Self-manage tasks and mini-projects or improvements
Research information for problem solving

Experience programming Crestron
Crestron Core Certification
CompTIA Network+ Certification
