Responsibilities
Design & Build: Develop reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems that support billions of daily transactions and requests
Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate ideas into production-ready software
Optimize Performance: Analyze and improve system performance, latency, and efficiency across distributed environments
Code with Quality: Write clean, testable, and well-documented code with a focus on maintainability and long-term scalability
Contribute to Architecture: Participate in system design discussions and help shape technical direction on new and existing services
Operational Excellence: Take part in on-call rotations, monitoring, and incident response to ensure world-class reliability
Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of industry trends, experiment with cutting-edge technologies, and share knowledge across the engineering team
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of professional software engineering experience in production systems
Strong proficiency in at least one major language such as Python, Java, C++, or Go
Hands-on experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and microservices
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, caching layers, and data modeling
Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Preferred
Experience with large-scale distributed systems, streaming pipelines, or high-throughput services
Background in performance tuning, observability, and reliability engineering
Exposure to containerization, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
