Responsibilities
Managing all data and reporting requests from proposal through completion using project management skills, tools and methodology
Analyzing health care metrics ranging from MIPS & HEDIS measures to internal process and outcome population health metrics
Working in conjunction with the Director of Population Health Operations & Analytics, Business and Clinical Intelligence, EPIC Clinical Applications and supporting Population Health departments as a subject matter expert
Proposing, identifying, analyzing, and validating data used to drive performance improvement and creating reporting to tell a story to a variety of audiences
Providing technical/subject matter expertise system-wide regarding healthcare quality metrics and analytics to understand the health of the populations of patients for which they provide services
Comprehending sophisticated clinical and financial business processes, data quality issues, data use and other areas of special focus for data being analyzed
Interacting with executive management, physicians, department leaders, and clinical staff to provide the data and analyses necessary for effective decision-making
Utilizing advanced information technology skillset and project management experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Healthcare Information Technology, or related fields
Five (5) or more years of job-related experience
2 or more years of leadership experience
Candidates must reside in Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan, or Colorado
