Responsibilities
Guide the strategic direction for machine learning programs focused on predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and intelligent reasoning for equipment and operational workflows
Design and implement complete ML pipelines, including ingestion of sensor readings and operational data, feature creation, training, deployment, and continuous monitoring
Support and mentor a growing team of engineers by promoting thoughtful experimentation, rigorous evaluation, and high quality lifecycle management
Collaborate closely with product and engineering leaders to transform customer needs into intelligent solutions that deliver measurable value
Create systems that connect field feedback with telemetry streams in order to refine, retrain, and elevate model performance over time
Improve inference performance and scalability through quantization, distillation, and modern serving frameworks
Build AI driven reasoning tools and agent style systems using LLM platforms such as Hugging Face, LangChain, or similar frameworks
Ensure that all ML infrastructure operates with strong guarantees related to latency, reliability, clarity, privacy, and security
Qualification
Required
Seven or more years working in Machine Learning, Applied AI, or Data Science with a focus on bringing models into production
Strong command of Python and deep familiarity with tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and cloud based ML platforms
Experience delivering ML systems that operate at scale for real users in real environments, not only research prototypes
Background in LLMs, time series modeling, and anomaly detection based on noisy or incomplete industrial data
Ability to influence architectural decisions, communicate across disciplines, and support the growth of technical teams
Knowledge of MLOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, Weights and Biases, or similar systems
Preferred
Advanced degree in a technical discipline is preferred
Experience with OCR and structured data extraction
Applied expertise in predictive maintenance or real world time series analysis
Familiarity with industrial IoT environments including telemetry systems and edge computing
Knowledge of reinforcement learning or agent based architectures designed for operational decision making
Contributions to open source ML projects or research related to reliability, interpretability, or digital twins
