This hands-on and strategic role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud security controls and services while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders. The position is primarily remote with occasional onsite requirements.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and improve security controls across multi-cloud and hybrid environments (Azure preferred)
Lead cloud security initiatives including IAM, CSPM, detection/response tuning, automation, and system hardening
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, MSPs, and cloud providers to deliver secure architectures
Validate alerts, triage escalations, and improve monitoring and prevention capabilities
Support incident response planning, runbooks, tabletop exercises, and governance forums
Ensure alignment with security frameworks and regulations (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CIS, CISA ZTMM, AWS/Azure/Google CAF)
Assist with audits, compliance assessments, risk remediation, and evidence collection
Mentor junior security engineers through documentation, reviews, and training
Qualification
Required
12+ years of IT experience
6+ years in information security
3+ years of hands-on IAM, RBAC, and cloud security experience
Proven experience securing multi-cloud environments
Strong knowledge of security frameworks, compliance, and risk management
Experience working with MSSPs and enterprise governance models
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related preferred)
