Responsibilities
Resource & Cost Planning: Establish and maintain accurate project resource and cost plans in ServiceNow, ensuring they reflect leadership direction and evolving project needs
Financial Oversight: Develop and manage Present Estimates, reconcile budgets to actuals, and track monthly project financials to ensure compliance with IT capital policies
Change Management: Support the creation and reporting of project change requests (PCRs), ensuring timely approvals and documentation
Vendor Management: Create purchase orders from statements of work, track vendor contracts, invoices, and accruals, and approve invoices based on scope and reconciled time reporting
Resource Tracking: Reconcile internal and external resource plans against timecards and vendor invoices to maintain financial accuracy and accountability
Operational Support: Monitor project accruals for services, software, and related costs while ensuring all reporting is accurate and aligned with policy requirements
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation, efficiency, and enhanced reporting, contributing to a culture of operational excellence
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in project management across IT and business functions, with proven success managing complex, large-scale projects
Expertise in project cost management and resource capacity planning
Strong business process analysis and mapping capabilities
Experience with ServiceNow or similar project/resource management platforms
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
Superior problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a continuous improvement mindset
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments
Preferred
Agile certifications such as Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Product Owner (PSPO)
ITIL v3 or v4 certification is an advantage
Background in the energy industry is a plus
