Responsibilities

Manage a caseload, offering assessments, treatment planning, counseling, and discharge planning services in a person-centered treatment environment
Oversee clinical records, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing direct supervision to line staff
Conduct eligibility screenings, train and supervise staff, evaluate work performance, and monitor client behaviors while focusing on holistic well-being for women and their families
Offer clinical supervision, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and coordinate services with external agencies

Qualification

Master's Degree in Human ServicesCertified Substance Abuse CounselorSupervisory experienceSubstance use disordersCompassionate client careLeadership skillsCommunication skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Master's Degree in Human Services
Minimum of two years of professional experience working with clients living with substance use disorders
Prior supervisory experience
Registered as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) with the Virginia Board of Counseling or eligible for CSAC Supervision Approval within 30 days of hire
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communication abilities
Adept problem-solving capabilities
Compassionate approach to client care
Must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation
