Responsibilities

Team Leadership - Supervise, coach, and motivate second-shift employees to achieve performance goals
Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Operations Management - Oversee production schedules, staffing, and workflow to meet deadlines
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Quality Assurance - Monitor product quality and address issues promptly
Implement corrective actions to maintain standards
Communication - Serve as the primary point of contact for second-shift staff
Provide shift handoff reports to first and third shift supervisors and management
Problem-Solving - Address operational challenges and resolve employee concerns
Escalate issues to management when necessary
Administrative Duties - Track attendance, performance, and productivity metrics
Assist with scheduling, training, and performance evaluations

Required

High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred)
Previous supervisory or leadership experience in heavy machinery manufacturing or related field

Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements
