Family Support Services Program Manager
Catholic Charities Boston is seeking a Family Support Services Program Manager to oversee a team of Family Support Specialists. The role involves program management, budget oversight, and collaboration with community partners to ensure effective service delivery.

Responsibilities
Manage a team of 5-6 Family Support Specialists
Responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring the case load and case notes and relationship management of the team, including coaching, mentoring and supervision of team members
Responsible for program contract management, budget, and reporting to the funding agency and programmatic oversight of community outreach and record keeping
Work in close collaboration with our Department of Children and Families (DCF) partners, as well as a network of community-based organizations
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
Responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling of staff
Provide employees with weekly supervision regarding case management and caseload
Ensure employees receive ongoing training each year to provide quality care for clients and themselves
Provide access to materials needed to support work with clients' needs
Provide case management and counseling services to clients as needed
Meet regularly with the program team to discuss case management concerns and provide organizational updates as needed
Work with Vice President on budget and contractual obligations
Oversee work performance, provide feedback to employees and suggestions for improvement when necessary
Monitor progress and goals throughout the year. Prepare the annual performance appraisal for all direct report staff
Report concerns including but not limited to staff performance to the Vice President of Family & Youth Services
Responsible for the preparation and delivery of timely submission of reports to the funding agency
Ensure expense and mileage reimbursement forms are submitted monthly by employees with documentation of all expenditures. Provide careful review for approval
Ensure accuracy of timecards with employee approval
Attendance at internal and external meetings and trainings
Visit client families in their home
Local travel as needed to perform the functions of the position
Qualification
Required
Strong supervisory skills and at least 3 years of experience supervising in a human service environment
Experience in home-based counseling and case management services
Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse population
Knowledge of working with program budgets and contracts
Experience working with the Department of Children and Families programming, assessment, service planning, and case review
Effective communication and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
Competent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and remote technology
A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation and insurance coverage
Preferred
A master's degree in social work, LCSW or degree in Human Services preferred with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant program experience
Bilingual Spanish/ English/Kamer/Haitian Creole helpful
Some evening and weekend availability as needed for on-call work
