Responsibilities
Develops, executes, and manages comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and business needs
Identifies, documents, and tracks software defects and inconsistencies
Collaborates with developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Actively involved in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks
Conducts performance testing to ensure the software can handle expected workloads
Creates and maintains comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports
Identifies areas for improvement in the QA process and implements solutions
Provides guidance and support to junior QA analysts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a focus in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Finance, or Accounting
Four (4) or more years of experience as a Quality Analyst with a proven track record in leading complex projects
Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and best practice
Hands-on experience with industry-standard automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium)
Ability to work well in hybrid and remote environments
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
Able to work in a deadline-driven environment while handling multiple complex projects/tasks simultaneously with a focus on details
Capable of working well under pressure while dealing with unexpected problems in a professional manner
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Finance, or Accounting
Strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming (OOP) language, such a Java, Python, or C#
Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and validating data integrity
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
Certification in one (1) of the following: Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE), Certification through the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
Experience in working with Playwright, Selenium, SQL, Jira, Azure DevOps, Java, C#
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
