Administrative Coordinator for Academic Excellence
Schreiner University is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrative Coordinator to support Academic Affairs. This role involves managing the daily operations for the Dean of Academic Excellence and coordinating various administrative tasks to enhance academic success.

Responsibilities
Support the daily operations for the Dean of Academic Excellence
Coordinate and manage schedule for the Dean of Academic Excellence
Prepare meeting materials, attend meetings, assemble minutes, and record key takeaways and/or action items
Purchase, maintain, and organize office supplies, logistics, and materials
Serve as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality
Draft, proofread, and prepare correspondence, presentations, and reports
Coordinate communications across units and offices
Collate reports, collaborating with the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness, from all with direction and guidance from the Dean of Academic Excellence. Must have experience with basic data tasks such as pulling Canvas reports and formatting Excel sheets
Plan and manage logistics for annual programs and events, such as the Honors Program, distinguished lecture series, and scholarships with direction and guidance from the Dean of Academic Excellence
Collaborate with campus partners on supporting student retention and success with direction and guidance from the Dean of Academic Excellence
Track and reconcile budgets, expenditures, and reimbursements
Prepare and process purchase orders, vendor contracts, requisition requests, and related spending, as well as work orders
Ensure financial activities align with university policies
Support travel logistics
Plan and coordinate special projects/events/programs as needed
Represent the university at functions and events
Support the Center of Excellence for Achievement and Learning Support (CEALS), Office of Student Success, Office of Career Services, the Schreiner Experience (Meaningful Work, Changing Global Society, Purposeful Lives) as needed
Support University Ministry as needed for collaborative projects or programs
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2-4 years experience in administration, project coordination, program management
Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Google Sheets, LMS platforms, Qualtrics, Zoom, etc
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to accomplish tasks independently and with minimal supervision
Ability to work as a team member
Preferred
Master's Degree in education, higher education administration, or related field
3-5 years of experience in higher education
Prior experience working in a professional office environment
Experience in data analysis
