Postdoctoral Research Associate - Pediatrics Rheumatology & Immunology
Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a post-doctoral research fellow in the Cooper lab focusing on immunology and bioinformatics. The role involves designing experiments, writing manuscripts, and collaborating with lab members to understand somatic variants in inborn errors of immunity.

Responsibilities
Independently design and perform experiments related to identification of somatic variants leading to inborn errors of immunity, with oversight from PI
Write manuscripts describing the findings of your scientific research
Accurate documentation and record-keeping
Assist with writing grant applications for the laboratory, and submit training grant applications to support your work
Work collaboratively with all members of the laboratory
Meet with Dr. Cooper regularly to review progress and for career development
Qualification
Required
Ph.D., M.D. Or Equivalent Terminal Or Doctoral Degree
Strong background in Immunology and bioinformatics, including first-author original publications
Expertise in analysis of genomic datasets
Strong writing skills as evidenced by past publications and/or grant awards
Preferred
Experience in immunologic techniques (wet-lab)
