Foxtrot Family Law is a firm dedicated to providing legal excellence and compassionate leadership. They are seeking a Paralegal who will support attorneys and clients by managing case progress, preparing legal documents, and ensuring effective communication throughout the legal process.

Responsibilities

Manage the 5-week/4-week system with Legal Assistants and assigned Attorneys to keep cases moving efficiently and ensure clients are prepped for hearings, mediation, and depositions
Prepare drafts, organize case materials, and monitor deadlines within the Alafile structure
Collaborate regularly with Attorneys to plan next steps, upcoming tasks, and ensure client expectations are met
Partner with the Legal Assistant, ACC Specialist, and Attorneys to coordinate urgent meetings and filings
Maintain a calm, structured approach even in high-pressure scenarios
Work alongside the Legal Assistant & Communications Specialist to respond to and resolve client inquiries
Ensure that client-facing communication aligns with the current case status and next legal steps
Keep documentation and case files updated in real time to support team-wide visibility and responsiveness
Track deadlines, manage calendars, and support case preparation for hearings, trials, or mediations
Accurately track time using WiseTime

Qualification

Family law experienceClio ManageNotary certificationTyping speed 60+ WPMTech savvyClient serviceHigh-pressure managementOrganizational skillsWritten communicationTeam collaboration

Required

Associate degree or equivalent work experience required
Previous experience as a paralegal required
Tech savvy
Typing speed of 60+ WPM with high accuracy
Notary certification (or willingness/ability to obtain one) required

Preferred

Preferred experience in family law
Experience with Clio Manage, Zoom, Gsuite, Adobe
