Head of Human Resources-Global Insurance Business
AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead the HR function for a newly established, global insurance business. This role involves developing and executing HR strategies, overseeing talent acquisition, and managing employee relations across multiple regions.
Responsibilities
Global HR Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the business’s global objectives and supports growth across all regions
Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee international recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes to attract, retain, and develop top talent in competitive markets
Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead HR due diligence, integration planning, and execution for M&A activities, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment of people practices
Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a culture of inclusion, engagement, and high performance across geographically dispersed teams
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies in all operating countries
Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to the needs of each region
Organizational Development: Drive initiatives related to leadership development, workforce planning, and change management to support business transformation
HR Operations: Oversee HR systems, processes, and analytics for efficiency and effectiveness across the global business
Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior leaders, managers, and external advisors to support strategic business objectives
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within a global organization, preferably in insurance, financial services, or related sectors
Demonstrated expertise in managing HR for multinational teams, including the UK, Nordics, Spain, and the US
Significant hands-on experience in Human Resources aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including integration and change management
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices across multiple jurisdictions
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to execute operationally and drive results
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certifications preferred
Willingness to travel internationally as needed
