Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic, Electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies
Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units
Makes set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
May be responsible for testing equipment and products
Qualification
Required
1+ year of related experience required
Requires production experience with vocational instruction in electro-mechanical assembly
Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
Ability to work from established drawings
Experience in soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
Ability to remain in a stationary position for [INSERT]% of the time
Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level
Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
Must be able to exchange accurate information
Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
