Lightricks is an AI-first company focused on innovative content creation technology. They are seeking a highly motivated Accounting & Bookkeeping Professional to manage day-to-day transaction processing and participate in month-end close, reconciliations, compliance, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records in the company’s ERP/accounting system (Netsuite)
Record and reconcile bank, credit card, and payment platform transactions
Process accounts payable (AP), including vendor onboarding, invoice coding, approvals, and payments
Process accounts receivable (AR) tasks such as invoice creation, customer payment tracking, and collections follow-ups
Maintain fixed asset registers and support asset capitalization
Work closely with the Global Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and recording
Prepare and validate payroll inputs and variable compensation (bonuses&commissions)
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for month-end and year-end close
Reconcile balance sheet accounts (e.g., cash, prepaid, accruals, intercompany)
Support consolidation activities where applicable
Ensure accurate classification under the company’s revenue recognition and expense policies
Support external audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation
Assist with income and sales tax statutory reporting in coordination with external consultants

Required

A well-versed accounting professional with 5+ years of experience, covering varied roles and subject matter areas in the B2B tech space
3+ years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping
Full cycle AP and AR - must
Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP)
Understanding in US payroll and employee health insurance plan administration
Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of working cross-functionally with other departments to drive value to the business
Advanced Excel and analytical skills with high attention to detail

Preferred

Experience with NetSuite is preferred
CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
