IP Docket Specialist

Responsibilities

Accurately docket patent and trademark deadlines across global portfolios
Review, interpret, and track communications from USPTO, PCT, and international patent offices
Manage critical dates and filings using CPi docketing system
Generate status and deadline reports for attorneys and clients
Assist with IP portfolio transfers and support related formalities (e.g., change of correspondence)
Review and analyze key IP documents (e.g., Filing Receipts, Office Actions, Notices)
Retrieve documents and verify data using public IP databases
Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices to ensure deadline compliance
Maintain precision and organization across multiple matters and timelines

Qualification

IP docketing experienceCPi docketing softwareIP rules knowledgeOrganizational skillsAttention to detail

Required

5+ years of IP docketing experience in a law firm
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency with CPi docketing software and IP rules (USPTO, PCT, international)
Ability to handle high-volume client portfolios
