Responsibilities

Partner with GIC to align on risk assessment, SOX scope, and control methodology; ensure EBS controls comply with Walmart’s enterprise governance standards

Coordinate with EY on testing strategy, sample selections, and evidence walkthroughs; manage resolution and closure of audit findings

Advance Digital Accountant automation by identifying controls suitable for digitization and embedding analytics and workflow tools to streamline audit processes

Mentor and lead EBS team members in controls methodology, control design, and continuous improvement practices

Drive collaboration across Finance, Controllership, and Tech to integrate controls into new digital workflows and process automation projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

8+ years of experience in audit, SOX compliance, or internal controls

Strong understanding of SOX 302/404, COSO framework, and PCAOB standards

Experience leading in matrixed or multinational teams

Proven ability to collaborate with external auditors (EY) and cross-functional partners

Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred

CPA, CIA, or CISA certification

Familiarity with SAP, BlackLine, or AuditBoard

Experience with automation and analytics tools

Exposure to large-scale financial transformation or digital compliance initiatives
