Responsibilities

Assist the Placement Director in mentoring and developing the placement team

Manage daily operations of the department, ensuring efficient workflows and processes

Support the creation, oversight, and reporting on the metric-based Lamb Quoting System

Analyze market trends and carrier capabilities to identify opportunities and risks

Collaborate with the team director to set targets and objectives

Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers

Evaluate the performance of markets and provide feedback for improvement

Proper utilization of Caffeine to organize and prioritize opportunities - new / renewal business

Ensure timely and successful placements by coordinating with the sales team

Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of business submissions to carriers

Deep understanding of insurance coverages and ability to articulate needs to carriers

Required

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Property & Casualty Broker

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role

Effective leader and team management abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using insurance-related software and tools
