Responsibilities
Schedules patients and coordinates follow-up appointments for Prosthodontic residents and fellows. Initiates communication between all departments, students, and patients via phone calls, e-mail or written correspondence
Maintains list of referred patients and documents patient assignments
Monitors chart entries in electronic health record and reports discrepancies to supervisor
Acquires all patient information including medical and financial data and enters that information on computer for the maintenance of clinical records
Position requires communication with other departments for the purpose of entering pertinent information into departmental databases
Completes patient applications for Smart Care loans through Campus Federal
Qualification
Required
One year of experience in administrative services in a medical setting
The ability to relay information correctly and appropriately to connect people and ideas
The ability to serve the needs of those who support and/or rely on the services provided
The ability to comply with policies and procedures of the organization as well as State Civil Service rules, and all applicable federal and state laws
