Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack solutions for customer communications, focusing on AWS cloud-native architectures
Architect and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions to replace legacy systems
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into modern technical solutions that drive customer engagement
Ensure code quality through rigorous reviews, test-driven development, and continuous integration practices
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation
Drive adoption of GenAI tools, automation, and DevOps best practices to accelerate modernization
Maintain application stability, security, and performance in a fast-paced, cloud-first environment

Qualification

Required

7+ years of hands-on experience in full stack software development, including cloud migration and modernization projects
Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and front-end frameworks (Angular/React)
Strong experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, EventBridge) and cloud-native architecture
Expertise in designing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and integrating with vendor systems
Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, Rally, SonarQube)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent technical leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)

Preferred

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK)
Experience with customer communications platforms and modernization initiatives
Exposure to industry communications platforms (OpenText, SmartCOMM, Quadient)
Experience leveraging GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, prompt-based dev tools)
Advanced degree or certifications in cloud, AI, or related technologies
