Responsibilities
Creating precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Revit and AutoCAD (SolidWorks and other tools as applicable)
Developing fully detailed plans that include dimensions, materials, tolerances, and construction notes
Reviewing, updating, and revising drawings throughout the full project lifecycle
Managing drawing files, version control, and structured documentation systems
Collaborating with engineers, architects, project managers, and customers to clarify technical requirements
Ensuring all deliverables comply with industry standards, internal guidelines, and applicable regulations—particularly within power generation and machine foundation design
Supporting field measurements or site visits when needed to validate design inputs
Identifying potential design conflicts or risks and proactively communicating them to the project team
Assisting with as-built documentation, fabrication details, and shop drawings
Contributing to continuous improvement of drafting standards, templates, and internal workflows
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency with CAD platforms, specifically Revit and AutoCAD
Solid understanding of technical drawing standards, drafting principles, and best practices
Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and complex technical documentation
High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
Working knowledge of architectural, mechanical, or civil engineering concepts
Certificate, diploma, or associate degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
3+ years of professional CAD drafting experience (entry-level candidates with strong education or training may also be considered)
Preferred
Prior experience in power generation, foundation construction, manufacturing, or engineering-driven environments
