eCommerce Marketplace Manager

Plaid Enterprises is seeking an Ecommerce Marketplace Manager to enhance their presence across various online marketplaces such as Amazon and Walmart. This role involves managing marketplace accounts, optimizing product visibility, and implementing growth strategies while ensuring compliance and a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

Manage the company’s marketplace accounts, including but not limited to Amazon Seller Central and Walmart.com
Ensure accurate and timely product listings, including uploading product data, images, pricing, and promotional details. Full management of catalog is critical
Monitor performance metrics like sales, conversion rates, traffic, and fulfillment metrics across all marketplaces
Oversee the full lifecycle of the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) process, from inventory management to replenishment and shipping
Resolve FBA-related issues such as stock discrepancies, fulfillment errors, or lost shipments
Optimize product listings to increase sales and maintain competitiveness in the marketplace
Develop and implement strategies to grow sales and market share on all platforms
Identify and capitalize on new marketplace opportunities, such as promotional events, ad campaigns, or seasonal sales
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid stock-outs or overstock situations across marketplaces
Coordinate fulfillment processes for each marketplace, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to platform-specific requirements
Analyze sales performance and marketplace data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Provide regular reports on marketplace performance, including sales, inventory, and profitability
Ensure compliance with all platform-specific policies and guidelines (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace policies)
Keep up with the latest marketplace updates, policy changes, and implement adjustments accordingly
Address customer service issues related to marketplace orders, such as returns, refunds, and complaints
Ensure a seamless customer experience across all platforms by resolving issues promptly and effectively
Monitor reviews and return reasons to identify trends in feedback, reporting back to product and marketing teams to ensure changes to product or content are conducted
Manage all components of ads and promotions for Amazon 3P and Walmart including running advertising campaigns, promotions, and product launches on marketplaces like Amazon and Walmart
Full management of ad budget across both channels, ensuring ROAS goals are meeting/exceeding projections. Track the performance of campaigns and adjust strategies based on results to maximize return on investment (ROI) and ensure alignment with product and company goals

Required

4+ years working directly with Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace Seller Center, and marketplace analytics platforms. Additional ecommerce account experience is a plus
Proven experience managing marketplace accounts, particularly Amazon (FBA), Walmart, and other online retail platforms
In-depth understanding of marketplace operations, from product listing to fulfillment and customer service. Understanding fee structures and experience in managing profitability of a business is critical
Ability to manage multiple marketplaces and prioritize tasks to ensure timely execution of product launches, promotions, and other activities. Strong time management skills are required
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in listings, inventory, and reporting. Highly developed communication and presentation skills
Strength in collaboration but able to work independently as needed
Data analytics and experience with tools such as JungleScout, Seller Sonar and Helium10
Bachelor's degrees in related field required
Proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite of programs, including Excel, and Powerpoint
Minimum of 4+ years of expertise in working with Amazon Seller Central platform
Strong communicative skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Create and implement comprehensive e-commerce sales strategies in accordance with the goals and initiatives of the sales department and management staff
Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills, strong experience interpreting data & drawing conclusions
Demonstrate strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
Demonstrated track record of sales management achievement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent at managing time, priorities, and expenses
Able to work independently, while being a team player

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
Prior experience with dashboard analytical programs a plus
