Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive credit analysis and due diligence for new loan opportunities in a time-sensitive manner
Construct detailed pro forma financial models and stress tests to determine project viability and risk exposure
Prepare high-quality, investment committee-ready credit memos presenting financial findings, market analysis, and risk mitigation strategies
Coordinate the underwriting workflow with originators, closers, and third-party vendors to ensure efficient execution
Work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and fully remote environment
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of direct experience in CRE credit underwriting
Demonstrated history of underwriting a diverse portfolio, including multifamily, office, hotel, retail, and industrial
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel), cash flow analysis, and sensitivity testing
Strong understanding of CRE finance, loan structuring, and due diligence processes (appraisal, PCA, environmental review)
Preferred
Experience from a bank, debt fund, or private lender
