MAILING HELPER DAYSHIFT AND NIGHTSHIFT
Graphcom is a company focused on mailing operations, and they are seeking a Mailing Helper I to assist in various mailing tasks. The role involves observing operational standards, performing production helper duties, and ensuring compliance with mailing regulations.

Responsibilities
Observe standards of operation and quality of output
Must perform all duties of a production helper including but not limited to table work such as matched mail, hand work and other fulfillment duties
Learn and keep up to date on basic knowledge of current regulations related to the presentation of mail in bulk to the USPS, including regulations involving address set-up, tabbing, envelope and card sizes and restrictions, postage classes and rate structures and sortation
Understands and is responsible for proper documentation, recordkeeping, performing quality checks, and proper destruction of PHI materials
Sorts mail and places in proper Mail Transportation Equipment and properly stores finished items ready for mailing per standards and specified job
Alerts supervisor of any unusual circumstances or problems that need escalated
Must be able to move around to various departments and assist, as needed
Stays current on all relevant HIPAA/HITECH / PHI regulations and procedures relating to activities in the Mail Department

Qualification
Required

Possesses a high level of comfort working around machinery and an ability to understand mechanical and computerized adjustments to machine operation and function
Flexibility with scheduling to include some overtime and some short hours as the schedule of work demands
Graphcom required trainings (HIPAA, Information Security, Medicare Fraud Waste and Abuse, Lockout/Tag Out, Harassment Prevention, Fire Extinguisher Training, HazCom/Right to know and Emergency Action Plan)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Regularly lift 5-15 lbs
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles
The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud, hearing protection is not mandatory, but available if needed
Preferred
HS diploma or GED preferred but not required
0-6 months related experience is preferred
