Responsibilities

Define a multi‑year research strategy (what to bet on, what to ignore, what to publish vs. protect), and create crisp program milestones

Build and lead a frontier research org spanning Research Scientists, Research Engineers, and graph/ontology specialists

Run a “paper → prototype → production” loop : prototype fast, evaluate honestly, and ship robustly (reliability, calibration, monitoring, safety constraints)

Represent the lab externally : talks, workshops, collaborations, recruiting pipeline, and credible public technical narrative

Required

Internationally recognized research track record (papers + impact) in one or more of: deep learning, RL/planning, world models, graph ML/knowledge representation, multimodal learning

Strong systems instinct: you care about evaluation, reproducibility, reliability, and making ideas work in reality
