Research Technicians - Educational Development and Assessment

The role involves collaborating on the creation of an immersive online educational program and refining subject-specific content.

Responsibilities
Collaboration with Principal Investigators (PIs) on the development of specific set of modules for the online program
Refinement and complete subject-specific educational content for the VFT modules
Leveraging curricular expertise to optimize the adaptability of the VFT to existing high school curricula
Aligning learning objectives and educational content to closely meet state and national educational standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required and other state-mandated teaching certifications
Minimum of one year experience high school teaching in geography, geology, or mathematics
Strong curriculum development skills and familiarity with educational policies and standards
Ability to collaborate effectively with PIs and contribute to the ongoing development of educational modules
Commitment to working during the summer months
Preferred
A knowledge of multimedia resources and the ability to incorporate them into online lessons preferred
