Responsibilities
Provides quality leadership to ensure that the products produced meet quality requirements defined by the company to both internal and external customers
Participate in cross functional tier meetings and responsible for quality metrics and actions
Possess ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Drive corrective action through root cause identification and structured problem solving
Directly collaborate with the suppliers to create corrective action plans to address process failures
Interpret drawings, specifications, and standards and convert into manufacturing control plans, work instructions, and audit processes
Work with Design and Plant Engineering teams to define product critical characteristics to ensure supplier process capability is effective
Advocate for the "Voice of Customer" through control plans and other quality documentation
Developing process validation plans, test methods, and documentation strategies
Lead cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field
Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, process capability, and lean manufacturing principles
Working knowledge of measurement tools and systems
