Technical Sales Engineer - USA

Freyssinet, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in the USA. This role involves developing client relationships, providing tailored technical solutions, and driving business growth across key industries such as infrastructure, energy, and water management.

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in key industries, including infrastructure, energy, and water management
Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and product recommendations to clients, ensuring solutions align with their project requirements
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to influence decision-making
Proposal & Contract Management: Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical documentation, negotiating contracts to secure profitable sales
Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently
Training & Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions for customers and partners
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and visit project sites

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Construction or related field) or equivalent technical background
5+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or a related role
Strong understanding of engineering concepts, construction methods, and industrial applications
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and presentation tools

Preferred

Experience in industries such as water infrastructure, hydropower, tunneling, or geotechnical solutions is a plus
