Responsibilities
Act as a technical lead for IT/OT network operations, ensuring seamless connectivity across enterprise and industrial systems
Deliver end-to-end support for network projects, including pre-planning, design, deployment, testing, and migration
Focus on wireline networking, emphasizing OT process networks, fiber optic infrastructure, and related solutions
Manage incident response and troubleshooting for network-related issues, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners to design and implement secure, high-performance network solutions
Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying trends and mitigating risks
Participate in all phases of project deployment—from planning to physical installation—in a heavy-industry environment
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Cisco LAN switching and routing in enterprise environments
Proficiency in fiber optic cabling, structured cabling solutions, and OT networking technologies (Cisco IE preferred)
Hands-on experience with OTDR and related testing tools
Proven success in complex enterprise-level projects involving network security and cyber compliance
Demonstrated experience in enterprise networking technologies: Cisco LAN switching and routing, OT/process networking and fiber optic solutions
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Self-starter with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines
Strong communication skills—capable of engaging with stakeholders across all levels
Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call rotation (24/7) and occasional overtime
Hands-on approach and readiness to work in plant environments when required
Preferred
Exposure to heavy industry environments and operational technology systems (PLCs, SCADA)
Cisco CCNA or higher certification
WLAN fundamentals and tools (e.g., Ekahau)
Project Management experience or certification
Bonus: Advanced IP routing (OSPF/BGP), Cisco Nexus, scripting (Ansible), and network security expertise
