Senior Account Manager - Commercial HVAC
Control Associates is a leading company in industrial process automation and HVAC solutions, seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive sales growth in the New York tri-state area. The role involves owning strategic customer relationships, developing account plans, and leveraging consultative selling to deliver solutions that address customer challenges.
Responsibilities
Own and expand customer relationships across the NYC tri-state commercial HVAC market
Develop and execute strategic account plans that grow our portfolio within named accounts
Build and nurture relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and stakeholders
Create winning pursuit strategies for complex opportunities
Leverage consultative selling to deliver solutions that solve real customer challenges
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines using CRM tools
Conduct regular onsite client visits throughout the tri-state area
Network proactively to identify new opportunities and expand market presence
Drive company, team, and individual sales goals
Qualification
Required
5+ years of proven sales success in a competitive environment
3+ years in commercial HVAC or industrial sales (required)
Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and goals
Demonstrated ability to interface with and influence decision makers
Experience working in team environments while driving individual results
BS/BA degree in a technical discipline
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Advanced Excel
CRM experience required
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
Preferred
Engineering concentration preferred
ERP experience highly preferred
