Maintenance Technician 3

Ackermann Group is a long-established company in real estate development and property management, located in the Midwest. They are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician 3 to effectively troubleshoot and repair operational, mechanical, and structural needs of properties while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Physical activities related to interior and exterior building and grounds maintenance and light duty janitorial
Performing intermediate level troubleshooting and repairs across the spectrum of maintenance trades (i.e. Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Appliance Repair, HVAC & Painting)
Scheduling unit turnovers with approved contractors
Managing inventory associated with unit turnovers
Carrying out repairs and/or solutions for resident generated service requests
Participating in snow event preparation and removal
Responding to periodic after hours “emergency” maintenance requests
Pool water management if applicable
Participating in move-in/out inspection process
Leveraging Ackerman technology and software to document, manage and report on maintenance related activities
Participating in coordination and execution of the property’s preventative maintenance plan
Taking responsibility for other work-related tasks as assigned by Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor

Required

Availability to work full-time: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with emergency on-call rotation as designated by the Community Manager
1 or more years of related experience that demonstrates a broad knowledge of general maintenance
EPA Type I & II certification required
Exceptional attention to detail
A positive, team-oriented attitude
A valid driver's license with proof of insurance
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

CPO and CAMT certifications preferred
