Responsibilities
Oversee all month end closing process with delivery to ICI Exec Team & External CPA
Prepare income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and management reports
Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal reporting standards
Coordinate external annual GAAP audits, banking field exams and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department leaders to create reliable budgets
Primary Treasury Management lead overseeing daily/weekly transactions and Banking day to day
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic planning
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory accounting processes
Develop and implement new and automated reporting to support strategic direction of ICI Foods
Supervise, develop, and mentor the accounting team
Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
Implement systems and automation to improve efficiency and financial visibility
Improve, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets
Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
High integrity and commitment to ethical financial management
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Proactive, solutions-oriented, and process-improvement mindset
Preferred
CPA preferred
ERP systems (SAP or SAP B1 preferred)
Experience in a private mid-market or growth-oriented company preferred
Familiarity with SQL or databases a plus
