Orion Placement is a nationally recognized complex litigation boutique focusing on high-impact cases. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of complex litigation, manage case calendars, and assist with legal document preparation and filing.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys with all phases of complex litigation and case management

Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, schedule meetings, and coordinate depositions and hearings

Draft, format, proofread, and cite-check legal documents including briefs, pleadings, discovery, and exhibits using Bluebook or similar citation standards

Conduct factual investigations and basic legal research using tools like Westlaw

Prepare deposition and trial materials, including witness binders and exhibit sets

Assist with discovery, including managing litigation databases, document collections, productions, and review projects

Handle filing and service of legal documents in federal and state courts, including electronic filings and filings under seal

Organize and maintain case files, both electronic and hard copy, and help ensure smooth workflow across case teams
