Responsibilities

Develop and implement systems and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the general assembly process

Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes to enhance production rates and quality

Conduct process simulations and risk assessments to identify potential improvements

Establish and maintain quality standards for the general assembly process

Supervise and analyze process performance to ensure compliance with quality specifications

Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve product reliability

Provide technical support and training to staff and junior engineers

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the general assembly process

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of new processes

Ensure all processes and procedures comply with safety and environmental regulations

Develop safety procedures for individuals working with equipment and materials in the general assembly line

Document all created processes and update these documents as changes occur

Prepare and present regular reports on process performance and improvements to senior management
