Navigate Search is a growing professional services firm based in Chicago, IL, seeking a Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager to join their team. The CAS Manager will manage outsourced accounting engagements, serve as a primary client contact, and ensure high-level financial support while mentoring staff and maintaining consistency across client engagements.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple CAS engagements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting and financial reporting services

Support fractional CFOs with month-end close, financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting

Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients on accounting and operational matters

Review financial statements, reporting packages, and supporting workpapers for accuracy and completeness

Coordinate and review staff work; provide technical guidance and ongoing feedback

Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of best practices

Collaborate with senior leadership to maintain service quality and client satisfaction

Required

Prior experience in CAS, outsourced accounting, or client accounting services

Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, and financial reporting processes

Experience supporting or working alongside CFO-level or advisory clients

Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and deadlines

Preferred

Prior experience mentoring or supervising staff strongly preferred

CPA or equivalent credential preferred
