Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data architecture solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based platforms
Develop and document current state context diagrams and data flow diagrams to understand existing data processes
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address data-related pain points, translating business needs into technical requirements
Define high-level data requirements and work with cross-functional teams to elicit detailed data specifications
Design target state data architecture aligned with enterprise data strategy, ensuring compliance with information security standards
Create and maintain data models, database schemas, and data integration workflows to support large data volumes
Oversee and optimize ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines for efficiency and scalability
Lead the integration of new data platforms and emerging technologies, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption
Mentor and provide technical guidance to data engineers, analysts, and other team members
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project success
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing large-scale data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, and cloud environments
Extensive experience with designing complex, cross-domain data models and integrating diverse data sources
Proven expertise in cloud data platforms, particularly AWS S3, Iceberg, and related AWS services
Demonstrated success in leading data architecture projects and collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making across organizational levels
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and guide team members on technical best practices
Availability to work on-site at the designated location
Preferred
Experience with Snowflake and Databricks is advantageous
