As a Drainage Engineer-In-Training, you will take ownership of various drainage projects, working under the guidance of Senior Hydraulics Engineers to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design for transportation projects.

Responsibilities
Work as part of the drainage team under the direction of Senior Hydraulics Engineers to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design for transportation projects
Use a variety of modeling software and tools to analyze and design drainage systems including storm drains, culverts, ditches, and water quality and stormwater management facilities
Use CADD to prepare plans and digital files for bidding and construction
Coordinate with other disciplines to provide the best value and service to our clients
Your work will include design, calculations, and plan development
Apply and adhere to industry and client standards
Take ownership of and complete assigned tasks
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or graduate degree from accredited program in civil engineering
Passed FE exam
0-4 years of experience in storm water design and plan preparation for transportation projects
Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills
Desire to progress personally and professionally
Motivated to work hard to learn new skills
Clear and concise verbal and written communication
Ability to work with different staff members
Apply effective time management skills
Preferred
Municipal and/or state DOT experience preferred
OpenRoads Designer experience preferred
