Vice President of Talent Development
Morgan Hunter is a growing national organization seeking a Vice President of Talent Development to lead strategies that enhance workforce performance and strengthen leadership capability. This role involves partnering with executives to shape talent assessment and development while managing a team focused on key development and performance programs.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategy and execution of talent development, leadership programs, performance management, and succession planning
Manage and develop a large team of L&D and talent professionals, including future team expansion
Partner with senior leaders to identify development needs and build scalable programs that support organizational growth
Oversee engagement and capability-building initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Evaluate and enhance existing development programs; recommend improvements and new solutions
Manage budgets, learning tools, and resources for effective program delivery
Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the Chief People Officer and HR leadership team
Qualification
Required
10+ years minimum of experience in talent development, L&D, or organizational development
Previous experience managing a team of 5 or more HR professionals
Proven leadership experience managing multi-level development teams
Strong communication and influencing skills with executive-level stakeholders
Ability to design and implement large-scale development strategies
Experience with performance and leadership development programs required
Bachelor's degree required
Ability to be in-office 100% of the time and travel occasionally
Preferred
