Responsibilities
Supervision for the nursing staff
Staffing for call-offs, on call as needed, organization of the shift
Communicates and assists with admissions
Discharges and pre-certifications
Ongoing preparation for surveys
Provides new hire orientation
Maintains positive working relationship with co-workers
Properly instructs and guides subordinates in client care
Responds to; and effectively resolves all client and or staff problems/issues in a timely manner
Communicates all client and staff issues with Nursing Supervisor
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Possesses current LPN's license that is eligible in the state of practice
Demonstrates sound leadership skills including time management, organization, and prioritization and sound written and oral communication skills
Strong background in supervisory duties
Knowledge of HIPAA laws, state licensing regulations, and trainings as required
Knowledge of CARF regulations
