Responsibilities
Oversee, mentor and nurture a team of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides and medication technicians in the busy Wellness/Resident Services Center of our luxury assisted living community
Act as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director
Provide caring and attentive help to residents in managing their activities of daily living (ADLs) as well as in the administration of their medications
Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness
Have staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment
Have an active LPN certification and be driven by a genuine desire to improve the quality of life of our residents
Assist those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia if applicable
Be caring, reliable and observant with an understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders
Excel in prioritizing, multi-tasking and working independently
Qualification
Required
Active LPN certification
Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment
Caring, reliable and observant with an understanding of MAR's and doctors' orders
Ability to excel in prioritizing, multi-tasking and working independently
Preferred
Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia
