Accounting Manager
LECO is a leader in the development and production of world class laboratory instruments. The Accounting Manager will maintain the integrity of financial reporting while seeking opportunities to increase efficiencies and profits, collaborating closely with various departments within the company.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the review & preparation of the Company’s monthly financials including Domestic, Foreign and World Consolidation
Coordination, planning and working closely with external audit firm on year-end audit
Working with the Accounting team to improve processes and internal controls to make the department more efficient
Preparing reports and communicating information to management
Collaborating with other accountants and financial staff to provide financial and accounting support to the executives and department heads
Partnering with Manufacturing, R&D, Service and Marketing/Sales on any projects that may be needed to keep the harmonization amongst the departments
Partnering & communicating with Foreign Subsidiaries in regard to their system processes and financial reporting
Reviewing, investigating, and correcting/improving any errors/problems in the system, financial entries, and reports
Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies leading to the development of financial solutions with a bottom-line impact
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience in a Manufacturing environment
3+ years of previous supervisory experience
3+ years background working with Oracle or any other large ERP system
Strong financial analysis skills
Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and pressures
Be able to effectively communicate including writing, speaking and active listening with upper management, plant employees and other office staff
Ability to prepare financial reports and give recommendations based on available data
Critical thinker with strong technical, organizational, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple and complex tasks in a timely manner
Excellent attention to detail
Collaboration and teamwork
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel
Background working with Oracle, SAP B1 or any other large ERP system
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
Preferred
Recognized accounting designation like a CMA or CPA certification is not required but would be highly valued in the selection of a candidate
