A Leader on the Mobilization team, will undertake all engineering activities to ensure site leadership teams/field teams are set up for success, prior to project start
Participates in the RFP processes, completing a detailed review of plans, specifications, and entirety of bid package
Work with Sales/Esimating to assess upcoming project scope to gather cable schedule, shop drawings, BOM, etc. to prepare pre-work submittals and then submit to customer via ACC, Clearstory, or whichever platform identified by customer
Evaluate and continually suggest improvements to processes used by Project Delivery and Mobilization Teams to effectively meet customer requirements and expectations
While there are no direct reports for this position, the Senior Mobilization Manager will interview, mentor, and coach Field Engineers
Interact with the customer to validate our understanding of expectations before, during, and after project completion
Manage project review process with particular emphasis on constructability, value engineering options and design discrepancies /clashes
Proactively and systematically communicate challenges, risks, and successes
Pre-Project Coordination with Project Superintendent(s) to understand and assess installation methods, labor needs, and manpower forecasts
Support QA/QC by ensuring adherence to the Quality Control plans and process
Ensure that all downstream team members are meeting deadlines on assigned tasks
Reviews contracts, work orders and purchase orders to fully understand contractual requirements and provisions, and to ensure scope of work is in alignment with associated estimate and respective contract documents
Thorough understanding of OSP and ISP (Conveyance, trunk cables, connectivity, etc)
Thorough understanding of IFCs, Cable Schedules, routing diagrams, network diagrams, and network gear/equipment installations
Cultivate and maintain customer relationships
Work with the Logistics Manager to ensure proper materials and equipment are ordered and available
While this position is remote, travel to site 0%-25% may be required as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree Construction Management, Engineering or other related discipline. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the construction industry in a similar role
Extensive knowledge of Safety protocols, processes and procedures
Deep understanding of industry specific estimating and engineering best practices
Ability to identify change events
Knowledge of various construction technology platforms, quality, and safety standards
Ability to understand and develop project schedules
Demonstrated professionalism and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills, including excellent customer service skills
Disciplined, detail oriented, organized, and self-driven
Demonstrated skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
Proficient in using a computer and business / industry applications - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.), Bluebeam, Procore, ACC, Clearstory, Textura and others

Preferred
OSHA-30 Hour certification (if not certified at time of hire, certifications must be obtained within first six (6) months of employment)
