Lightmatter is a photonic computer company leading the revolution in AI data center infrastructure. They are seeking an Intern for their Software team to contribute to embedded software development and support system-level testing and validation.

Responsibilities
Contribute to production embedded software and firmware codebases
Enhance firmware testing and integration framework development for embedded projects
Incorporate development kit hardware test workflows into the software review and approval process
Write and debug integration tests for embedded systems
Collaborate with hardware and verification teams to support system-level testing and validation
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field)
Familiarity with software design concepts and working experience with embedded Linux
Knowledge of data pipeline and data reporting / monitoring frameworks
Proficiency with GitHub and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Programming experience in Python and/or C/C++
Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
