As an AI Research Intern, you will design and implement advanced AI algorithms to improve Micron’s silicon and systems development processes while collaborating with internal teams and external researchers.

Responsibilities
Design and implement modern AI algorithms for real-world semiconductor and systems challenges
Rapidly develop and demonstrate proof-of-concept solutions
Collaborate with AI architects, internal product teams, and external research partners
Maintain high-quality documentation and share knowledge within the team
Publish original research and present findings at top-tier conferences
Develop implementation plans to transfer AI technologies to relevant Micron groups
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Strong theoretical knowledge in AI domains: machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, NLP
Excellent programming skills in Python
Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
Solid mathematical foundation for algorithm development
Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred
Proven research experience with publications in top-tier ML conferences
Ability to implement and scale AI algorithms for large datasets
Experience with distributed computing and GPU acceleration
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
