Film & Media Production Support/Academic Technology Specialist - Emory College of Arts and Sciences

The part-time Production Support/Academic Technology Specialist will support and maintain the new Production facility, ensuring that A/V technology is functional and updated while providing training and support to students.

Responsibilities
Maintains the reservation system for the specialty spaces identified above, communicating with students and ensuring access during operating hours
Provides soundstage training to students, including safety, protocol, and specialized lighting operation (DMX/lighting board)
Advises students in the responsible and effective use of the department's production equipment, including Developing camera and lighting workshops in tandem with the introductory and upper-level production courses
Maintaining a workshop schedule for individual students in the evenings
Provides general building facilities support, including maintaining afternoon and evening drop-in hours for student access, and providing back-up for the equipment room manager
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in film or related field
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and assets
Experience with various digital imaging hardware and post-production software
Experience managing employees, preferably student workers
Afternoon and Evening availability required
