This role is critical for ensuring accurate costing, inventory valuation, and providing financial insights that drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic insights through financial and operational analysis to improve profitability

Own and manage the month-end close process for cost and inventory accounting

Lead all cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation

Analyze manufacturing performance by comparing actual costs to standards and identifying variance drivers

Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure accurate costing and margin management

Develop and continuously improve cost accounting procedures and internal controls

Lead annual standard cost roll and support budgeting and forecasting for COGS

Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts for accurate reporting

Act as a key business partner to leadership with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach
