Management Consulting Group is seeking a Computer Client Support Analyst to join PG&E's Sacramento Customer Contact Center. This role focuses on providing desktop support and troubleshooting various technical issues while ensuring high levels of customer service and documentation of service requests.

Responsibilities
Provides client desktop support with a basic technical scope in Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and computing in an enterprise network environment
Troubleshooting desktop and mobile computing devices, networks, and peripheral issues
Diagnosing and resolving application, hardware, and software problems
Engaging appropriate support resources to remediate issues
Create and assign incident tickets and work orders based on priority, impact, and complexity
Follow through to completion, and document service requests within established time frames
Monitoring network devices, interfaces, and applications across the PG&E enterprise
Correlating multiple customer issues with alarms/alerts to eliminate duplicate events
Managing alarms/alerts using defined business rules
Provide support after core hours and contact on-call support for urgent issues
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of IT service/help desk operations experience
ability to complete service requests and troubleshoot via phone and web channels
standard knowledge of MS Office Suite, Microsoft operating systems, and enterprise network environments

Minimum typing speed is 35 WPM, and typing test results must be attached with submission
Preferred
Two- to four-year college degree and/or IT accreditation/certification or equivalent IT work experience
1 year of general customer service experience (retail or call center sales/service)
IT technical experience in PC use, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and software/hardware installation
strong qualitative/quantitative problem-solving skills
ability to learn new concepts quickly
organizational skills
advanced verbal and written communication
proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
ability to work independently or as part of a team
basic knowledge in areas such as IT product lines, operational processes, utility domain, and TCP/IP
